I've been with Gamemine since 2008 and never had any of these issues that others are claiming. I've always had on time games and never been blamed for stealing a game because I didn't steal any! Nor did they over charge me or put any hold's on my account because I abided by the TOS which clearly states to return games first before you cancel or there will be a hold. Imagine how many people would steal games if they didn't have this in place? They have to have some way to secure their merchandise. Best game rental service I've ever had. 5 stars all the way!!! :)

they have the worst site.i subscibed to them and it was great at first then they changed thier site and havent recieved any of my games in a month when i contact them i might get an email back or not and when u do get 1 they say they know and are trying to fix the problem.but if they know then why not go in get them sent out i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE

when joining this site we were expecting something similiar to Gamefly and only found disappointment! They normally only have a very few amount of good games and most of the time it takes forever before able to get a copy of a game in high demand. They have a very small selection. So after a couple of months we decided it would be best to go back to Gamefly who is able to provide the good games that are in high demand. We cancelled our account and still got charged the next month but not only once but twice! We have been fighting to get this fixed and only told it was a billing error and will be fixed shortly. Shortly so far has almost been a month and still nothing! They have poor customer service and won't do anything to resolve issues.

This was the worse company I have ever seen in game rentals. They will tell you that a game is shipped for weeks then send it 2-3 weeks after they tell you it was shipped. Over half the games I got were damaged...and was a complete waist...use the other services...Game Fly or even Block Buster...which is cheeper anyway works really good...

I have tried quite a few and this one is by far the best. I can literally send a game back in a day and half and have something before the end of the week. Not to mention the 2x speed service, is GREAT. I highly recommend them.

I have nothing positive to say about gamemine, other than I did receive one game that I wanted during my trial. And then decided to charge me money for games that they perceived I scratched. Ridiculous. Please, if you know what is good for you, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY!

I joined Game Mine and quit after one game. Its not that it seems bad, its just I didn't like their terms. Everything seems worded to get $50 out of you incase anything happens. Even when you quit they still pre charge $50, that is unacceptable to me and the reason I quit after one game. Emails take forever to get answered if at all since before I quit I asked for clarification on what I would be held accountable for. The game arrived after just two days which is great, but when I sent it back in the pre paid first class envelope they send with the first game sent it took over a to finally show up as returned. Also the $50 pre charge to another week to get taken off my account.
I cannot recommend a company that is basically holding you hostage with $50 at all times.

GameMine.com rents video games online. The service was okay to start, I received the games I wanted, but the more desirable games were sometimes unavailable. I realized this would happen, this is not my issue. My issue is that over my month of membership I received two games that were scratched and unplayable. The first one I received (MLB 2k10 for xbox360) played it for 5 minutes until it crashed, saw that it was scratched, and I marked as unplayable and returned it. Eventually I got another game. I then received Red Dead Revolver. This one I looked at right after opening and I saw that it was severely scratched. I tried it anyway, and this one barely loaded, it just got to the menu screen and paused. So I again, marked it as unplayable. Then today (6/7/2010) I received a message that Game Mine.com decided that it was my fault, and charged me $60 for it! They claimed that it was a new copy, it wasn't USPS fault and I scratched it and tried to buff it out. I received this game damaged! I don't even own a buffing machine or would even know how to attempt to buff something out. I'm being charged for ridiculous reasons! This company should be avoided at all costs! I will be doing a charge back on my credit card and will hopefully get my money back.

CAUTION! They make their money by saying you didnt return your games. I have never had a problem with any rent by mail companies except GameMine. They are dishonest and completely ignore all commications. They are not in the BBB.
