The gamefly service SUCKS. They had a good availibility but thats about it, they lure you in with a fake $9 per month ad but after the first month it goes up to like $16. The turnaround time was 7 days for me, 6 if I shipped it Monday morning, and I only live 200 miles from their shipping depot, I can only imagine how terrible service would be for someone across the country. Even if I shipped the games back the same day I got them I could still only get 4 games per month, so the local blockbuster is a much better deal than this crappy service. The turnaround times should NOT be that long, netflix turnaround times are only about 3 days.

Gamefly, overall is a pretty good service. I signed up with them once when I lived in Los Angeles and had their service for about 3 months (before I moved). Shipping time overall was EXCELLENT, but only because their only distribution center at the time was in Los Angeles also (about 20 miles south of my residence). So there shouldnt have been any reason as to why it wasn't excellent. I canceled because I moved cross-country to D.C. Shipping time drastically changed, for the worse (of course). Turnaround times quickly changed from 1 day, to about 3 days. This was due to their single distribution center located in L.A. They now have a distribution center located in PA, which should speed up shipping times for those on the East coast.

Their game selection is also awesome (for the record, they do not offer MMORPGs). Any game you can think of, for the systems they support, Gamefly has it. The catch is that most of them are not available when you want to rent them. Right now, their site has been updated and tells you how available a certain game is (e.g. "Low", "Medium", "High", or just "Available") If a game is "Low" on availability, take it as their former "Short Wait" caption. If you have multiple systems you want to rent games for, you shouldnt be disappointed.

Their website is extremely easy to navigate through. Pick games, add them to your "Q" (Queue) and wait for them to be shipped. Its so easy. It will also tell you what games you have out.

The shipping times used to be a little slow but they're doing a rapid return program with the post office now and they've just added a new distribution center on the east coast so shipping times aren't an issue anymore. I love them. I do the two game at a time plan and it is so worth it. Gamefly's the best! And you can buy the games you really want to keep from them at a discount and they send you the box and the player manuals and everything. Gamefly rocks!

Games have been lost in the mail at least 4 times in the last year...postal problem? or?
Also the turn around is nearly 2 weeks if you live on the East Coast.
The support team is always nice and trusting but the waiting and the reporting gets old after a while. We are checking into other game rental sites.

Turn around time for games was at least a week, sometimes longer.
After they claimed we damaged a game, they promised to return it to us. Still waiting after more than a month.

So i'v had gamefly for about 2 months now and they have a great selection, its just that nothing is actualy availible to ship. Out of my game Q of ten games, consisting of xbox360, wii, gamecube, and gba titles, only 3 are actualy availible at this time. Two of which are for game cube. What is the point of paying $25 a month for two games when you realy cant' choose wich ones you want and are forced to rent the ones that are availible. Top it all off with a realy slow turn around time(around 4 days)and gamefly just isn't worth it.

I got a lame game so I sent it back the same day and still have not received another game yet 8 days later. They said they may send one out on Monday which will be a total of 10 days with no games. There is only 30 days in the month and I had one game for 1 day so far. Terrible value. They say if u ask for help more than one time it will delay you receiving a game even longer. I wish I would've tried a trial first. Buyer beware go elsewhere! I hear that gamelender has great delivery time. I am going to try them after this. It can't be any worse. I can rent a game at blockbuster for 5 and keep it a litte longer twice and save 10 bucks!
